Anyone going to Stitches West?

Swap?

So I finally took the time to organize my knitting needles. I have a ton of duplicate sets of bamboo DPNs and circulurs. Out of curiousity would any one be interested in a swap? yeah yeah?

secretcheri asked: What is your current knitting project? :)

I am currently knitting the Botanica Medallion Cardigan by Shiri Mor. Photos will follow soon!

Knitters!

Would any one of you lovely fiberistas happen to have a copy of Vogue knitting, Spring/Summer 2009 that you would be willing to lend/barter with me?

I purchased it when it came out and started working on the Botanica Medallion and stashed my WIP. Unfortunately the magazine did not stay with my work. So my WIP is patternless. I would hate to have to repurchase the issue or pattern considering that I already did so.

If you have the issue or access to the pattern i am willing to barter supplies, yarn, fiber, and or my knitting services.

this is the first time that i have actually fallen in love with a piece of jewelry.

OMG Hexipuffs!!! they are my in-between, take ever where, procrastinating project that i absolutely love! they are small enough to travel any where and to finish in a single short sitting(or standing). lets not forget the immediate gratification i get each time i finish a hexagon…its a project that makes me happy even though ill probably will not finish in the near future. Although i do dread the day that have to seam them all together for my final quilt.
soon enough i will have a stash as large as this picture.

Whats your size?

My preferred knitting needle size is a US 6(4.0mm). It is the perfect fit between my thumb and for finger when my had is relaxed. so it feel natural when knitting. Anything larger feels a little labored or foreign.

So whats you favorite knitting needle or crochet hook size?

Knitting Feaver or am i jsut crazy!?

around this time last year i decided to take up a monstrous sweater project! as usual i got distracted. a quarter way done its remained idle for a year. today i picked it up and started knitting like mad and made a ton of progress.

So right now i am making a commitment to have it done by weds. i know its a monstrous commitment and may be in over my head but it may be the only way ill ever get it done. after all i do my best work under pressure!

Whats a kick ass knitting project?
